Taking VISTA Security Window Films To the Next Level!
The author (me) describes the advantages for having the BondKap attachment system installed as opposed to the hand application of the Dow 995 Silicone sealant.
I have experienced some of the worst installations of Dow during the last decade in the window film industry. The bead is typically messy and inconsistent in width and depth. The applicator very often forgoes using the safe release tapes, etc. to keep straight lines and avoid a mess. What these customers got in the past was a poor quality look, and rounded corners that would never pass muster in an objective test situation.
The Bond Kap takes all of the guesswork out of Dow 995 applications. The bead is placed into the patented BondKap. The BondKap is then placed exactly in the channel and the finished appearance is absolutely perfect.
Unlike hand applied Dow 995, the product can be used on movable windows and the Kaps are configured so that the windows can still be opened with ease.
Our customers are ecstatic at the look of a finished appearance. The Film Fastener team is based here in the Tampa area. This is purely coincidence, but terrific for my Advanced Film Solutions clients.
