Barry Brings Rain But Also a Wake Up Call
Tropical Storm Barry provided much needed rain and drought relief for the entire Tampa Bay area. The winds were low but that rained sure poured down yesterday.
It was surprising to see just how quickly that storm formed and moved. Generally we experience the storm forming at a distance from the Tampa area.
We watch as the storm moves closer to the Bay area hoping that somehow it will turn left or right and miss our homes. Barry seemed to form instantly and move faster than most tropical storms ever do.
