No Moan Zone at Tampa Home Show
The Friday start at home shows is always slower than the Saturday or Sunday traffic.
After all, most consumers are working on Friday, so this gives vendors a chance to banter amongst themselves.
Our competition seems. .well. .LOST?
It was hard to hear the conversation over all the moaning about how bad business has been in 2007.
The Economy
No Hurricanes (Noel is teasing us here in Florida by saving all that wind for the Northeast USA!)
The Housing Bubble and sub prime mortgages.
Frankly I had the feeling I was in a conversation with "pseudo Alan Greenspans" given all that babble I heard yesterday!
I was actually tempted to give my friends some pointers to help them when it quickly dawned on me that those 3M days are long over. That force of habit - -helping my dealers think strategically and win against any comers is DOA. The Frozen Chosen are on their own. C'mon boys - -think- -think- -think!!
Advanced Film Solutions closed two projects before the show started yesterday AM. We are scheduled all of next week for installations of VISTA and Huper Optik Window Films.

Let's call the Advanced Film Solutions Booth 333 the NO Moan Zone!!
Here's a simple list of why Advanced Film Solutions wins:
1. All window films are NOT the same. Our Vista Window Films and Huper Optik Ceramic Films offer the widest and deepest selection for Florida residents.
2. Our Films are all wider width so we never have to install ugly seams across the entire glass. Our 3M friends told us they were supposed to have 72 inch film back in June! Vista and Huper have had 6 foot wide films for the last decade! Now tell me again about innovation!
3. Our Vista and Llumar 8 ML Films pass that ASTM test (4.5 Lb missile) their film does NOT! Hmmmm. . .safety and security film in Florida and they can't pass the test?? I'd be moaning too!
4. Advanced Film Solutions matches our customer's requirements rather than the other way around. We have so many films to offer that we can always customize the solution. Their limited line of films restricts their flexibility.
5. We meet the requirement for Deed Restrictions that require non reflective window films. The Vista and Huper Optik Ceramic Films are elegant effective solutions without the blue shift in light our friends live with.
