Housing Bubble Bursts- Read Why?
NY Times article on recent local Florida goverment housing fund issues.
This is one of the better articles ( CNN- Fortune) that we have read that calmly explains the post bubble housing situation.
We are not trying to add to gloomy projections but rather to offer some immediate cost savings right now that hedge against rising fuel costs and may, just may, help to differentiate your home from others that might be up "for sale" in your neighborhood.
The reality? The majority of homeowners are not trying to sell homes right now.
Certainly local home resale prices have dropped but this only has a psychological effect on our finances IE. had we sold our home two years ago we would have received more profit than if we were trying to sell our home right now!
In the interim we have to pay our monthly utility bills.
