My News Stinks-How About Yours?
I don't know if you read the Sunday newspapers but for me it's an age old tradition.
Nothing better than to take the three to ten minutes required to read the St. Pete Times.
Folks in Tampa Bay may be buying the local rags like the Tribune and the state's largest circulation paper the . .tada. .St. Petersburg Times. .but seriously my fellow Floridians, have you ever read The NY Times Sunday Newspaper or the Chicago Tribune?
How about the Washington Post or the LA Times Sunday editions???
Night and day difference . .or rather "All the News That's Fit to Print" versus "All the Ads We Ignore and Throw away!"
But today was different somehow- -waaay different.
There was a special air about the St. Pete Times this morning.
A competing perfumed array of scents wafting through the air that reminded me of a Bingo Night at a senior citizens club!!
The competing scents of perfume and cologne seeping through the kitchen you might have thought the Avon lady had camped overnight! Scratch and sniff or rather pull open or not and smell perfume ads!! Not one- -but ten!!
Hmmmmm..my hands still smell ![]()
Just when I thought it was safe to read real news like the NY Times Sunday Magazine section- -simply dying of anticipation of Governor Huckabee's statement that Mitt (what kind of name is Mitt anyways?) Romney and all Mormons think that Jesus is Satan's brother.
Governor Mike has already pre-emptively apologized - -See I do watch Hardball!!
(Hey by the way- -I couldn't care less about what Mormon's do or don't believe- -Mitt and Mike - -please give us all a break!!)
Well - -that august NY Times magazine has a "certain smell" as well.
Men's cologne (actually quite appealing!) "Le Male" by Jean Paul Gualtier (this is a not so subtle hint for a Christmas gift folks-HINT HINT!)
Yes the news smells. .
Now if I could only figure out how to create a window film ad that might smell like roses- -hmmmm??
