Different names for the exact same product can put a sad face on any web SEO designer. That's my guy below!

Here's my unscientific analysis:
Most consumers call all of this "window tinting" or window tinters (now tinters isn't in any dictionary!)
It's 75%-25% on the question window film versus window tinting. 75% of our focus group study says Tint wins over Film 3 out of 4 times!!
Astonishing!
My personal prejudice is toward the window film name since tint has gathered (at least to my mind) a negative connotation of purple film sold by a guy with tattoos and a Black Sabbath Tee Shirt.
These are the moonlighters of window tinting who have a day job (sometimes) and will tint your car or house in their spare time.
Whatever you want to call this stuff is OK with me just as long as you call us!
