Quite often a concept that we think will be productive (profitable) can turn out to be problematic.
Well meaning and well intentioned people aren't immune to these negative outcomes; so it's critical to conduct thought experiments before initiating a policy or program that quite often, takes on a life of its own.

- Immediate short gain experiments of adding new dealers in major MSA's where the existing dealer will suffer a severe loss of equity in their marketing investment and by doing so, provide the impetus for that dealer to "jump ship".
