- Vista and Huper Ceramic Films are available in a 30% Visible Light Transmission which surpasses the Prestige 40 in heat rejection (we qualify for the energy rebates, they do not!)
- Our Ceramic Films do not have a noticeable "blue shift". Their films alter the visible hues to a bluer color changing the ambiance of the room.
- Ceramic films do not present iridescence "rainbow effect" on the transmitted light. The prestige films do produce this multi-colored effect on light color walls or tile.
- Ceramic Films have a durable color fast scratch coat. The prestige color is a virtue of a dyed layer on the top surface of their film. These colors can be scratched from the surface on all of their "tinted" versions.
- Optical clarity. Our films have no distortion or haze effect. We will match any Prestige film side by side for visual clarity!
- Take the Huper. Lumenesse or VISTA Challenge and compare them side-by-side. You will observe why Huper and VISTA win!
Here we did a side-by-side mock-up installation against prestige film. - Neither Huper or Vista ceramics or Prestige add any additional reflectivity to the glass.
- Huper Optik ceramics do not corrode in humid environments. Prestige will not corrode. Any implication from their side that our ceramic films corrode is pure fabrication.
- All ceramic Films, and metal films for that matter work better when the Sun is at an acute or obtuse angle. Prestige is similar in that respect, as is clear glass. Implications that their film meets some type of extraordinary testing standard is 100% disingenuous.
- Vista Ceramic Terre Films and Huper Optik Ceramic Films are NFRC Certified
- They "invented" window film and make thousands of products.
-Response: They are a terrific company and they did not invent window film, they patented a metal application to polyester films. That was 40 years ago and lots of things have changed.
- They can use Windex, we can't?
-Response: utterly ridiculous particularly with prestige film. Take a Scotch Brite abrasive sponge to their film and watch the color come right off. Do the same with Vista or Huper! Go on. .you'll see who has a hard coat! - Better Warranty?
-Response: Our films have a lifetime warranty as do theirs! Our is transferable to the next homeowner; theirs ends when you sell your home!
- "We are 100 plus years old; and 'they' may not be around in the future!"
-Response: Anything can happen, nothing is forever; but CP Films is the largest window film manufacturer in the world. DuPont polyester isn't a fly by night company the last I checked. We hope that 3M stays profitable for the next 100 years and we hope that we are all profitable and solving Sun related problems for decades to come!

Good on ya, Whack it up em.
I've been in the industry for 28 years here in Australia & have used DTI (now Bekaert/ Solargard) for about 24, Also use a lot of Vista V14 Dist. by MEP Films/ Cortaulds (At one stage I'm sure it was marketed as Vista Ultima) Basically, zero failure with either product in all this time & I'm installing in Queensland with fairly constant temps of winter 24c & summer 32c. I was taken by your stance & presume you are an older fart like myself with considerable time devoted to the solar control industry which is now being contaminated by the new bloods to the game who have no or very little background or product knowledge/ or experience. I too have to contend with similar bulls- $%t when quoting but still come out with a 99% conversion rate which I put down to good old fashioned Honesty when doing the sell. I was actually just on the net to find out the relevance of Nanotechnology, the new "Techo" sell phrase which I'm sure everyone will have in their product soon, whether its in there or not (even though it always has been)
Best of luck with your awareness campaign. and I'm not going to say anything about putting bloody shrimps on the barby, so don't wait for it cause it's not going to happen. And how the hell do some people get to 3000 characters? Cheers, Brenton.

Educating consumers is critically important. Many trust a well known brand name and their LOGO. The product should equal or exceed that reputation. If it does not; it;s the consumer that suffers.
We deal in FACTS.

Welcome! We are the distributors for Huper Optik in NZ. So far Huper is not in Aussie, but I can arrange something for you. It is true, everybody is now jumping on the bandwagon, Madico, Johnson's, Bekaert. I have tested them all against Huper Optik, they all fall short. Too reflective!
I am the baby in this circle,with only around 14 years experience. I must confess, we used to use MEP films but changed, because the NZ operation is run by amateurs. We have used Johnson's for the last few years without any hassles, literally a carbon copy of MEP, but without the politics and back stabbing. Contact me some time,look up Huper Optik New Zealand. That's a very convincing post to move to your company for our new windows. We're having all our windows changed and we're looking for a film that will help with energy saving but keep the light natural. Your description is very convincing, and the picture with the 3M film left is the cherry on the cake. I'll show this to my husband!

If blogs were sales reps, you would need to give this one a raise! Your argument is very convincing, and obviously that you support it with pictures just does the thing completely. And I'm all for encouraging independent entrepreneurs who break away from big wasteful conglomerates.

I'm going to keep your product in mind. The no-haze thing is something I can't imagine. I'm so used to our tinted windows being blue and having the rainbow effect - all over the room - that I wouldn't know what to do with something that was clear!

Your product is so obviously superior it's not even funny! I can see why people use your products instead of 3M! Window films are really useful for saving energy and I will definitely look at your products for my renovations.
