Hurricane Season 2009 And Window Film!

Many of us are pragmatic about hurricanes like Bill; very much a 'que sera, sera' attitude.
When and if we get an evacuation order, we will load up the SUV and head somewhere safer.
If we can afford high impact windows or shutter systems that meet the Dade County Code (9 LB Missile) we will cross our fingers and hope for the best.
Some neighbors will run out and buy plywood. The Depot and Lowes stores do a bang up business the week before a hurricane. These plywood coverings don't meet the missile test (9 Lb. by the way, but we all would like to think it's doing something!
How many of us can actually install plywood or lift the wood onto our windows? Who on earth is going to do our large slider glass??
