In a separate trial 10 two-gram steel balls were fired at 90 miles per hour at a treated window. The windows remained intact in both trials.

LLumar's website cites flying glass as the cause of most damage and injury during hurricanes. It says that installation of their window film makes windows resistant to shattering and tough against strong winds, potentially reducing the chance of harm to you or your family.
