3M Prestige IR Rejection- Fact Versus Myth
I posted the following back in August, 2008.
Unfortunately there is nothing outdated about the false 3M IR claims or their continued nonsense about developing their own special angle test to demonstrate how effective their nano film works at different times during the day.
What a joke!
Their own web site claims 97% IR heat rejection which is completely bogus.
So the only possible response is to continue to beat the drum for accurate measurements like the NFRC stats!!

VClimber and his window film online has done it again by raising the RED FLAG about IR fables

He refers to a recent CP Films Tech Bulletin (July 2008 Issue 10) TECH UPDATE that has a scientific and methodical approach in dispelling the fantastic (false) "MYTHS" that are misleading consumers when they compare window film alternatives. "Infrared Transmission, "What The Numbers Mean and Do NOT Mean"
I'd publish it on this blog, but I assume that it's confidential? (See; I do have some self-control!) 
I decided to upload it after all!!
