Are we in the "Cone of Uncertainty"?

Our phones began ringing with Tampa residents asking for free estimates on our hurricane films.

Here are the top questions that we were asked:


  1. How do these films work?

    Our thicker hurricane films are installed on the inside of your windows. These films are 8 ML thick and have an aggressive adhesive system. We typically anchor the film to the frame on larger windows and sliders using Dow 995.

  2. Do we sell 3M Hurricane Film?

    We compete against their window films and are happy to do so.  The LLumar, Vista and Lumenesse 8 ML Think films pass the 2 X 4 ASTM Test 1886.

    Only 3M's Ultra 600 a clear non energy savings, narrow (5 ft width only) film has met that safety level.

  3. What is our warranty?

    Lifetime warranty on your home.

  4. Do our films qualify for energy rebates?

    Yes. Our LLumar 20, V28 Films meet the TECO and Progress Energy shading coefficient!

  5. Do we have a non metal film that passes the hurricane test (ASTM 1886 B) for gated communities and deed restricted condo's or HOA's?

    Yes. Aside from our low cost LLumar 8 ML clear film, we offer Lumenesse.  This is a nano-ceramic film with 55% heat rejection that is virtually clear on your windows.  Check your HOA rules for the appropriate level of reflectivity allowed.
