Priorities

A slight shift in priorities on Tuesday evening when the gas that wasn't gas  never went away and I eventually decided it was time to head to the ER.

Of course I figured they'd laugh and hand me a super antacid pill but instead I was on an operating table in less that 15 minutes and in the hospital until this AM.

Thanks to all my friends out there who expressed their well wishes and concerns.

I'll follow Doctor's orders and take it easy for a week or so. No lectures from me about low cholesterol diets and low sodium food.

Here's my tip for the day. If you have chest pain that doesn't go away?

Go to the ER, call 911. Don't take chances!

Take it from me this was scary. The world can change in a "heart beat."

Glad to hear you did the right thing Mike! Take a week off from hurricane chasing and fried foods. Get well soon.

Funny thing, while I was in ICU I had the TV on 24/7 watching hurricane coverage and the "lipstick on a pig" stuff.  No getting away from that!

I won't stop hurricane chasing - -the fried food is OUT.
