Nothing gets my goat more than a 3M dealer "pretending" that the film in their box is superior.

On countless 3M dealer sites (easily found on GOOGLE) you can find more baloney than Oscar Mayer may have hiding in storage!

Golly, is it possible that they might be thinking that perhaps this is true??

Now take my perspective for a moment.
See this through my eyes!

I worked for 3M for 33 years. I was the National Sales Manager for 3M Window Film. (Not Scotch Tape, or Post-It Notes!)

So when any 3M dealer writes they have "more field experience" than any other company; I have to choke back the laughter! More field experience?

The global leader in window film is Solutia Performance Films

Flat glass and cars. Commercial and residential government , retail, etc. etc.

It's not even close!!

Twist my arm and I'll tell you the market share numbers and % for the last 20 years or so!

And there are more misconceptions put forth by 3M dealers like:

3M makes all their own materials for their window film?

First of all how much nonsense can someone boast about and keep a straight face.

Is that true for their FX car tint?
Their ceramic film?
Their Affinity film?
Their exterior films?

Of course not.

Imagine 97% heat rejection??

Hmmmmm?
