Hurricane Season Starts Today- Florida Prepares
Hurricane Season begins today so it was fitting that the CP Films Team provided a seminar on do's and don'ts when it comes to shatter resistant window films at their Orlando meeting yesterday.
Most window film dealers understand the limitations of window film as a hurricane protection device. Certainly the film by itself can not protect a window. Obviously you need to have the film installed on the window and anchored using an attachment system. Once that is done these films offer protection based upon the ASTM testing (4.5 Lb missile test and cycling) that Vista Films passed.
