Funniest Thing I heard All Year - Huper Optik Versus 3M Prestige!
Now my friends (I got that from John McCain) you won't believe this one!
Seems my new customer in THE VILLAGES is a real Internet research type. He went on the NET to find out the differences between 3M prestige films and the Ceramic nanotechnology Huper Optik Film. Somehow he winds up speaking directly to one of 3M's largest Texas dealers and he explains what he's looking to accomplish:
Reduce the heat without darkening his home or using a shiny film. Knock his electric bill down, etc. etc.
The Texas 3M dealer guy asks where this gent lives and find out the prospective client lives in Florida. . .
The 3M Dealer says (according to my customer!)
"Since you are in Florida I can tell you the truth.
You should find the Huper Optik dealer in The Villages and have them install their film.
"It's head and shoulders better than prestige."
He actually told the client that had he lived in Texas he'd be pounding the prestige drum!
Seriously! I can't and wouldn't make this stuff up!
I got that phone call and we install Huper Optik tomorrow.
