Summer '09 Confidence - Why Not?
Folks I talk to a hell of a lot of window film people all across the USA. These folks aren't a happy bunch to say the least.
Doom and gloom everywhere!
Boo Hoo!
Ads that used to work are no longer doing the trick and they can hardly afford to do any marketing in 2009.
The manufacturers for the most part remind me of absentee landlords. They feign concern but are all clearly more interested in their own jobs and don't have a clue what to do to bolster their sales or their job security beyond playing games with inventory or running discounts.
What a sorry lot!

There are ways to drive your sales and take market share away from the dunderheads that pretend they know what's going on.

Here are my top ten rules for window film success in the Summer of '09
- Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Big babies!
- Stop looking for help from corporate know nothings who pretend that they know your business or their business. That's the blind leading the bland. AND please stop kissing their ignorant asses it's just embarrassing.
- Stop spending money on things that aren't working! You know what they are, don't you!
- Stop spending your money on unproductive overhead! If it ain't selling it's smelling.
- Find successful people and drink in their optimism. Dudes- -I am living proof that bad shit can't keep a person down if you don't let it.
- Copy successful people. Don't be shy or proud! If you find someone doing things that work, copy them. Shamelessly copy what these people do!!
- ABC- Always Be Closing. It's true... ask for the damn business!
- Don't do things by accident. Plan your success. Plan to get better if that's what you need to do!
- Hire positive people. Stay away from dark cloud bone heads that drag your spirit down.
- Find balance- Smell the flowers! (while I seriously kick your asses
) This isn't a hobby or a game. This is the real deal with winners and losers.
Take it from me; winning is a hell of a lot better than losing any day of the week!
