One of the unintended consequences of branching out with Windowfilmusa.com is the inevitable comparisons to 3M window film.

Homeowners want relief from intense heat but they DON'T WANT a shiny window film that looks like an office building circa 1973!

Huper Optik Ceramic Films are the answer; but many consumers are confused by the 3M brand name and the fantastic information they are getting from local agents of prestige films.

Plus golly; they sure do spend $$ for pay per click ads on GOOGLE.

Time to clear the confusion.

In Tampa we have never lost to their prestige films.

There are specific quantifiable reasons why overwhelmingly clients select the Huper Optik ceramic films.

We'll leave aside the pricing for a moment (although I did receive a call yesterday from a consumer telling me the a 3M via Home Depot wanted $16.50 a square foot for prestige.)

The color comparison or rather the hue of the light streaming through your windows. Huper Optik has a natural color that won't alter the aesthetics of your home's furnishings. The prestige films visibly shift toward the blue. This is particularly obvious under indirect light (angle)
Our Huper Optik has a scratch resistant coating. The prestige film seems to offer very little protection against scratches or color loss. One 3M dealer showed me how the color can be easily rubbed off of their film (prestige 40, 50!) I kid you not!
Huper Optik ceramic films come in a 30% light transmission. This is critical in Florida where you need that type of solar performance to earn window film rebates from our local electric companies (TECO- Progress Energy) The 3M prestige 40 is not energy efficient enough to earn that rebate!

Why would anyone want to pay more for less?
Huper Optik will not corrode or change colors. There is no interference with cell phone or wireless signals.

Of course that's not what our 3M friend advised their client. They pretended that only 3M can stand up to Windex. They claimed that all other films block signals. Pure nonsense, of course!
The Huper Optik films are optically clearer than the 3M hazy prestige films. Side by side comparisons win the day. That's 3M film on the top left panel below. Our Huper Optik 30 is on the rest of these windows.
Huper Optik works better at angles just like glass and 3M films. No difference! BUT. . . you'd never believe that if you listened to that 3M home depot rep. They pretend that only prestige film works better at angles. It would be funny, if it wasn't so sad.

That their film is the only one that works better at angles is as real as the conversation above!
Huper Optik rejects copious amounts of IR similar to prestige. Huper's performance on glass can be ascertained on the NFRC website. There is no reason to embellish their performance or pretend we eliminate 97% of anything other than UVA & UVB (ACTUALLY 99.9%!)

3M claims they block 97% of the IR. If so why is their objective total solar energy rejected so average?

Here. .read these if you have ten minutes to understand why this is a fabrication or at best highly misleading. Not to worry since honestly no one will hold their feet to the fire; they might as well have claimed they block 100% of the heat simulating absolute zero somewhere beyond Pluto!

So. . go ahead and call their prestige dealers or their window film depot agents and resellers throughout the USA. Get their best price and then call
