The Best Window Film Reality Versus 3M Name
Let me begin by writing that I didn't really expect to cover this subject today. I was really focusing on the potential damage of Hurricane Danny
That's when I read this thread on my favorite window tinting forum Tintdude
The topic started strangely as these threads sometimes do with a mention of mmm better known as 3M.
This current thread devolved into a discussion of what motivates me and this blog along with my Advanced Film Solutions and Windowfilmusa.com websites.
It may take a few minutes but it's really worth the read.
Our position is that value and performance come first. That we are entitled to be profitable based upon the quality of our products and documented results (NFRC, ASTM etc.)
Some disagree and believe that consumers should suspend their judgment based simply upon a brand name or logo.
If you are a consumer we recommend one philosophy as opposed to the other. Obviously no consumer would accept the other viewpoint.
