Angels And Demons Of Window Film

Window Film is in my blood.

I tell people that when they ask me why I know so much about the window film business, the people and the history involved?

It's more than a job; for me it's an avocation.

This is a terrific picture of Ray Levy and me hanging out at the Geoshield Meeting.

Ray has been involved in window film since the 1960's (need I say more?)

An original 3M dealer and one of the initial 3M Distributors established back in the 1980's.  He was also a Sun Gard distributor when that actually meant something!

There is life after 3M- -isn't there?

I mentioned that I gave my first presentation in several years at this meeting.

Near the end at 3M there was very little opportunity to do presentations. I'd kind of sit in the back and watch the St. Paul guys dazzle the room. My pen running out of ink as I furiously took copious amounts of notes concerning Sun angles, etc.

So after dusting off the rust (I guess I didn't edge seal myself enough?)

I stood in front to speak. (My nurses on stand-by!)

Now I should mention that I followed two dear friends (yes Virginia I have friends and yes; I have my enemies!)

They were brilliant presenters and informative as usual.

One gent is a particularly well known as a "good guy."

Motivational and some might say. ."Spiritually Uplifting?"

Then I get up.

The folks after the meeting called it "Angels And Demons."

I don't mind being the latter!!

My theme was differentiation and self reliance.  That if you don't satisfy your customers someone else (perhaps me!) will be happy to take over that duty.

This is particularly true for Manufacturer's and Distributors.

Isn't it?
