Our previous 33 years at 3M and direct window film experience as an Account Exec and 3M National Sales Manager for window film taught me a few valuable lessons about limiting product solutions and isolating our clients to a one size fits all approach.

Vista and LLumar Films are the industry leading window films manufactured by CP Films a division of Solutia.
Huper Optik is the leader in nanoceramic patented multi-layered films. Their ceramic 30/40 and 50 are outstanding films for discriminating clients who prefer the non-reflective look rather than a metallic finish to their exterior view. These films factor out IR so a lighter film can block more heat than the same light transmission in a metallic film.
CP Films and Huper Optik became the first manufacturers to have their films accredited by the NFRC.
We were also concerned with dual benefit safety and security solar combination window films. Florida faced a constant threat from hurricanes and harsh weather.
Combining the solar control and UV - Glare rejection of these films with a shatter resistant capability simply made sense!
Certainly shutters that pass the 9 lb missile and cycling tests are true hurricane mitigation products. Nevertheless our 8 ML thick window films have met objective windstorm tests like the Factory Global small missile test for commercial glass and the 4.5 Lb ASTM 1886 test for cycling and debris on specific window structures.
LLumar, Madico, Vista, SunTek, Lumenesse and Armorcoat have all met this objective independent test on their dual benefit film and Advanced Film Solutions has all of these films in our arsenal.
Our 3M friends do not meet this performance level on any of their ultra solar security films. This includes S20,S25, S35, S50 Prestige 50 or 70 ultra.

3M's recently introduced ceramic films are severely limited to 5 foot widths and are reflective on the exterior view, coincidentally like many other lower quality ceramic films that are all produced in Tempe, AZ
