We returned from our Orlando meeting with Huper Optik refreshed with new information concerning these incredible ceramic films.

It's also invigorating to meet with dealers from other areas; many who offered their best practices to educate the market about high performance films.

We were encouraged by the numerous successes the Huper Optik team has had in generating commercial account installations.

This is really interesting because ROI is typically better with lower cost reflective films. It's the limitations of reflective films, particularly the aesthetics of shiny glass, that makes all the difference in the decision process.

Huper Optik ceramic films are clearly the upper strata of window film. The performance, aesthetics and investment cost are higher than standard dyed plastic films and sputtered metal films.

It is also true that even during these down economic times there are consumers and property managers who simply want the best and while they'll certainly negotiate they never compromise on quality and long term performance!

We also heard a good deal about the single layer "ceramic" films marketed under several different names by several different re-sellers and re-boxers, all produced on the same unit in Tempe. The limitations:

Exterior reflectivity is twice the Huper Optik 30, as one example.
The maximum widths are 60 inches. Watch out for those seams.
Huper Optik Films are NFRC Certified which is not the case for these knock off pretenders.
