Advanced Film Solutions Environmental Expo The Villages Greenest Solution

We were rocking today at The Villages for their third annual Environmental Expo.

This was certainly an appropriate day to hold the educational expo considering the fact that the World was celebrating 350 Day!


We demonstrated the versatility of our film portfolio by bringing Armorcoat, Madico, Vista, Llumar, Huper Optik and Geoshield Lumenesse.

Best of breed in all categories of window film:


Reflective and dual reflective films that offer privacy and incredible heat rejection.

Ceramic and nano-ceramic films from VISTA and Huper Optik.

We were able to educate the attendees who had questions about window films.

Here are just a few:

  1. We thought that window films were all dark or had to be in order to work?


    Response    : There are many darker reflective films that provide enormous heat rejection of nearly 80% and certainly block visible light.  How dark or reflective is your choice. 

  2. Do you offer lighter films that are virtually clear yet block IR heat? Are they as blue as that 3M film we saw?

    Response: Yes- Our Huper Optik nanoceramic films block larger amounts of IR which translates to invisible heat. This provides you a lighter film with heat rejection (total solar energy rejected) equivalent to darker films. As for their blue film; we prefer neutral colors rather than a hazy blue.

  3. The 3M Dealer claims their prestige 70 blocks more heat that a silver reflective film. Is that true?



    Response: No. They are misinformed or deliberately stretching the truth (LYING). The prestige 70 is a very nice film that blocks 50% of the TSER.  Darker reflective films like their own P18 or S20SIAR block far more total solar energy. So much so it's not even close.

  4. If that's true how did their BTU meter register lower numbers for the prestige film that a silver film?

    Response- This is an illusion or more accurately a trick,  The BTU measures IR in a very narrow bandwidth and the IR lamp is also emitting in that wavelength. It's deception pure and simple.  This is why the NFRC rates film objectively to separate fact from this type of gross deception.

  5. I suppose you'll tell me that their film doesn't work better when it's hotter in the afternoon?  3M said their film works better at an angle and your VISTA film does not!

    Response: The 3M dealer is really poorly serving his potential clients. Their film has no advantage over any other film at an angle. That is total baloney. They can't block 97%

    of the heat- -that's simply a lie.  But the real shame would be if a consumer was foolish enough to believe their fabrications and buy that film!  Imagine thinking you bought a film that blocked 97% of the heat and discovering that your room was still hot?? I'd request my money back!
This is why we love expos and home shows. We love fact over fiction.

Truth over BS.


This is why we promote the NFRC for documented rating of film performance rather than marketing hyperbole and disingenuous claims  (I'd call them lies) from our competition.

Call them. .then call us. We are GREENER!

We love the comparison.

We love the clarity of our films versus their hazy blue films.
