Tint &Tint Ability Or How The Old Guy Did It

The very last time I was at The Mall Of America I had an epiphany.

It was as they say an "Aha" moment.

That was precisely four years ago today.

The week ending before SEMA 2005.

My journey since that day has been a path of evolution from corporate sales tool to the window tint-ologist you are fortunate to be reading at this moment.

The challenge was and is to take enthusiasm and knowledge and blend these traits with some hard work and opportunity.

The opportunity presented itself by deciding to launch my own company rather than work for someone else.

I had had a bit too much of that during those 33 years at 3M.

I couldn't see working for or with a 3M window film dealership.

Competing is in my DNA.

Where else could I enjoy winning against 3M and their 3M Window Film dealers here and across the USA?

Someone once said that I was lucky when I had a great sales year - - I believe it might have been 2005 if my aging memory serves me correctly?

You know. ."being in the right place at the right time."

I guess I am still lucky?

Just this week lucky enough to have 15 new installations completed by our incredible installation team.

Lucky enough to meet with three different window film manufacturers to get educated on their latest film solutions and marketing plans for 2010.

You can't claim to consistently offer the best solutions without appreciating the nuances between the real window film market leaders. If you'd prefer; you might call that lucky?

Lucky enough to have met this week and last with several 3M dealers to catch up and review their re-boxed ceramic films from Arizona. Thank heaven that was their decision rather than to actually innovate a new film.
Exciting stuff about pricepoints and protecting prestige margins with hardly a word aboutperformance or meeting their customer's requirements.

Thank you- -Thank you!

We are all still laughing at your "price points"

Lucky to have exhibited at the Environmental Expo at The Villages.

This week we installed VISTA and Huper Optik on the majority of our installations.

We completed a Madico project using their Lexan safe product. We won proposals in Orlando and The Villages and two more in Ocala.

We won against all comers and completed an office building in Sarasota.

I also got a rare chance to have lunch with my favorite Florida Gator.

Our FormulaOne car films sales for 2009 have hit a new record particularly now that we have a new car dealer in the fold.

We have now completed nearly 3000 residential and commercial installations since we opened in June 2007.

Lucky?

We've done more than 4000 cars

How's that for luck?

It can all end tomorrow; after all it almost did last year.

Still. .

It's been one hell of a ride!
