We had a long conversation with Progress Energy and they are conducting an investigation regarding this company and offered that they have had numerous consumer complaints previous to my calls.

Just when you thought that you'd seen it all. . .
Now there's a local company that places door hangers with official looking letters claiming they do home energy audits and implying that this service is being promoted or endorsed under the auspices of the local power company, Progress Energy.
They present themselves as agents and the result for the unsuspecting consumer is an intense high pressure sales pitch.
One of their recent prospective clients nervously came to our offices with a quote for Madico film done by this pseudo energy conservation company. The quote was high but more outrageous was the high pressure tactics he described!

Here's our advice:
- Make sure you check with the real power company Progress Energy. They do free home energy audits. FREE. They do not recommend one brand of window film or any specific window film installation company despite what these creeps tell clients.
- Before you sign anything make sure you compare prices and product with legitimate BBB rated dealers in the area. Remember if you are being pressured you have every right to request assistance.
