Comparing Home Window Film USA Versus 3M Home Depot Part II
Just yesterday completely out of the prestige? blue a Madico dealer in a large Texas city called me to ask my opinion about the 3M/ Home Depot window tinting program. (I gather he knows we compete against 3M and that we are Sunscape Select, VISTA, Huper Optik, Geoshield and Solar Gard.)
3M just did a dog and pony show and now wants him to kick in $6,000 to become a prestige dealer (so much for only a few were chosen, nonsense!)
This gent has competed against 3M for many years and the only reason the 3M people want him now is because their other prestige dealers can't cover that many stores.
Gosh - -why just last month they wouldn't sell him any security film so he had to switch a hospital bid spec that was 3M to a thicker, better, safer and less expensive Madico Security Film.
But that was last month (ancient history!) and things change around Texas kinda quickly!
Home Depot gets a piece of the action of course plus they push that credit card.
A 3M dealer in Orlando gets a piece of the pie (since they were the one's to set this deal up!) and the local dealer takes their cut.
Everyone gets their piece of the action!
After all is said and done the unsuspecting home depot shopper has to pay through the nose for a an average at best window film.
That's some selling plan. . .huh?
The only loser is YOU; the consumer.
Window Film USA competes against 3M and these dealers as well as this "program" across the USA.
If you are a smart consumer take my advice:
