Why wait for your tax credit when you can file in April for 2009 installations? There is only three weeks left in 2009 so waiting for 2010 means having to wait until 2011 for your rebate!!

- Triple Tax Credits reduce your investment cost dramatically. Your payback is tied to the cost of the installation and your individual tax rate. ($1500 cap)
- If you had an installation of an approved window film in 2009 you would be entitled to this tax credit. Check with your installation company.
- We assume that the tax credit will not expire but frankly this doesn't make sense given the continued emphasis on reducing energy use and of course the economic situation. This DOE information states clearly that the tax credit will be in effect throughout 2010!
