Business As Usual- The Real Year Begins Today
You know it and I know it, the year really doesn't begin until today.
Yeah, there are still some spider webs on your brain and the holiday dust is still hanging on; but there's a huge part of my psyche that can't wait for the world to get Back to BUSINESS!
It's cold and it's sunny and New Year's Day and Christmas are most definitely over!!!
Calls to make and my inevitable follow-up. I used to try to teach this stuff!
How many of those estimates from December really meant it about calling after the holidays. When they said "after" were they talking about today or rather sometime next week? By the time I get through analyzing all of this mind reading baloney I'll convince myself never to call them!
Advertising in January??
You heard me. . the coupon mass mailer folks are sharpening their knives as well. The demographics say that the Snow Birds will all be living down the block in a week or so. They'll be opening up those mailers and jumping over each other to grab that telephone to call me!
I expect about twenty five calls from telemarketers this AM. The phone book people will also be on the hunt joined by the latest website SEO guys combined with new homeowner gift baskets.
Should I upgrade our sales force??
Here's what I'd like: Ten fantastic sales people who are all willing to work for commission only!
