Rainy- Cloudy Tampa Virtual Home Show Days- Window Tinting's Best Deals
The "marketing manager" in me wanted to do the Tropicana Dome Home Show, but the pragmatist decided to pass.
We have done the TROP on numerous occasions since we launched the company back in '07.
If you think I looked ancient then; guess what I look like now!!
The Trop was a complete waste of time (and money!).
That first year there must have been 10 window tinting companies and the place was deserted.
To be sure there was some type of event going on at the same time. . .let's see. . .MOTHER'S DAY???!!!!
That set me up for failure as the St. Pete Times lady convinced me that Mom's love home shows on Mother's Day!
I believe we bumped into two or three? That over a 4 day period!!
Then we exhibited when there were fires burning throughout Florida which brought this incredible smoke lingering throughout St. Pete.
The dome was barely visible. and everything smelled like an ash tray. I think we took 5 leads that Memorial Day weekend!
I see there are several window tint companies that signed up to have a booth at the Dome. The Pro-Tech folks always seem to be at every home show and for heaven's sake there has to be a LLumar dealer there- -right?
So: For those Tampa residents that elected to do something other than drive down to St. Pete to the Trop this weekend we are as usual offering incredible savings and discounts.
