Your ranking on a search can mean the difference between getting a call for an estimate or never being in the game.

My goal is to compete and demonstrate superior value by offering unique solutions and experience.
I have many imitators, including some who grab my links or pictures.
SERIOUSLY.
We have a few spammers out there who have mirror web URL's that are designed to route the unsuspecting to the very same URL.
This is a cool idea (not original, of course) but when and if the Google Webmasters discover someone is doing this; the penalty can be very severe.
This is the reason we would never play games with search engines. (A friendly warning to my spammer friends!)
A few will actually copy my text word for word!
That's all fair in love and war and frankly it gives me a chuckle.
Then you have the folks who spend their money on pay per click sponsored links you see at the top and side of your GOOGLE search.
No matter what brand you search for some competitor will use these names as a search term.
One way or the other if you are relevant and consistent Google will find you.
