Upgraded TECO Window Tinting Rebates 2011 In Effect

TECO announced that their upgraded window film rebate  program went into effect May 3, 2011

The response has been overwhelming ever since in Hillsborough and Polk County. The $ 2.00 per square foot rebate without any cap has prompted hundreds of home installations for Advanced Film Solutions in 2011.



Window Film: Applying film to all east- and west-facing glass within conditioned areas - including any non-decorative glass that may be part of a door - may qualify you to receive $2 per square foot if the minimum shading coefficiency is .40 or less. The existing structure must have electric whole-house air conditioning.

After window film is installed, you are required to complete, sign and date our Window Film form.



A hard copy of the form, including proof of purchase (paid receipt) and supporting documentation (specification sheet) showing the shading coefficient of the film installed must be submitted to Tampa Electric in order for you to qualify for the rebate.
