Our crews were busy installing our solar control exterior film on a beautiful church located in Pinellas County.


While their stained glass windows provided the perfect atmosphere for prayer and contemplation; the afternoon heat made it feel like. . .(well you know!)



Nearly 99% of our window film installations are done on the interior side of your windows. We completed three other projects today, and I can assure you they we all installed on the inside.

So why would anyone require and exterior film installation?

There are several unique situations where an exterior film is the best choice.

  • When there is no access to the glass from the interior. This is frequently the case with commercial buildings and in particular the non vision spandrel glass.

  • For anti graffiti applications to protect glass surfaces from defacement.

  • When the interior glass surface is not smooth. You'll find this on bathroom windows and some upscale glass doors. (This church is a perfect example)

  • Exterior films are recommended for laminated glass systems. This is a popular configuration in Europe.
