Tampa Window Film Throughout The Ages

No matter how busy we get we always take the time to honor the early days of window film.

Cave days were always difficult since you could never keep the bugs out or block UV Rays.  This made our forebears exceptionally moody.

Few people remember that early Egyptian society spent tons of grain figuring out how to cut the glare. Why else do you think they came up with those pyramids. Their motto of, "You give us an Horus and we'll cure your glare"  was the first Nationwide (Upper and Lower Egypt) advertising piece ever developed for window tinting and coincidentally the last national ad ever done!

Egyptians did invent the first angle testing and discovered that fruit held in a head basket actually stayed cooler at an angle!

The Romans and Greeks were the very first to hold seminars on tinting and encouraged women to get involved in the early chariot tinting/Toga Party Arrangement business.

Thanks to these innovators we were left a legacy of fancy sounding names for tint businesses (and Greek Diners!) even today.

You know like: Apollo, Titan, B&B (Bacchus and Bacchus)

Ben Franklin (above) was the first Colonial American tinter to do a one piece rear window and his heat shrinking method is still being taught today.

We can't forget the other pioneers of tinting Newton, Fermi, Tesla, and Bob 7 Finger Johnson. Most folks thought he'd sold his soul to learn how to tint so well.

Others thought his ability to count to 14 was a major advantage!

Finally we come to today's historic window film company:
