Confused About Tampa Car Tinting Choose Wisely

If you are driving around the Tampa area without window film on your vehicle; you know how hot your car can get.

Your sunglasses may cut the glare but driving around in a moving fish bowl is uncomfortable, particularly for our female clients.

There are many choices for window tinting in the Tampa area; which company is the most qualified to do a great install with the very best heat rejecting tint?

  • Is there really any difference between various brands of window tinting?

  • Is there a difference or skill set that defines a superior installation?

  • You've seen some horrible looking window tinting installations; is that what you might expect?

  • Many of the places that do window tinting seem dirty or simply the type of store you would never willingly enter.

  • Your car is important to you. Having a flea market tinter touch your car is the furthest thought from your mind.
Advanced Film Solutions knows how special your vehicle is to you.

We take particular care when you trust us with your car.

We offer a wide assortment of window tinting choices since we understand the differences between the window film brands.

Dyed Film:

Getting down to the nitty gritty dyed films in 2010-2011 are a vestige of the window tinting past. These films are cheaply constructed and will not last very long here in Florida. Sure they are cheap and they appear to look fine the moment you complete the installation but appearances are deceiving.

Dyed Films will fade and lighten in a short period of time. They offer limited solar energy rejection compared to better constructions.

Only a road test dummy would have a dyed tint installed on their car in 2010-2011

If you're hoping for a cheap tint job- that's the type of window tinting you will get.

High Performance Films:

These are the standard films that a good window tinting shop will recommend if they have an ounce of concern about their clients.

These films offer hybrid constructions of dyed and metal films.  They last longer and will provide a greater amount of heat rejection.

The best of these films are the LLumar ATR Series.

Metalized Films: Films like our FormulaOne Comfort Series are meant to last. They offer a considerable advantage in heat rejection compared to the mid range ATR.
The warranty is transferable and no fault.

Ceramic Films: Ceramic Films provide superior heat rejection without interfering with EM, RF signals.  This means your GPS and Bluetooth will operate according to specifications.  Your keyless entry system will be unaffected by the metal in standard or metal films.

In this category the best performing ceramic film is the FormulaOne Pinnacle film.

Installation techniques:  Our tinting experts use high speed plotters and software that cuts the precise pattern that matches your vehicle's windows. This eliminates the cutting on your soft glass like most tint shops still do.

Sure the cost of having this type of device is higher than a guy cutting on your car in a flea market but it's worth our investment to meet our clients requirements!

Our shop is pristine and our waiting area offers wireless and a TV. More importantly your time is extremely valuable and we won't waste any of it.

Most cars are completed in one hour or less.
