It's been five years since we opened our doors at Advanced Film Solutions.

Competition was fierce; particularly 5 years ago.

Many of the long time window film dealers had had enormous success during the "Hurricane" years of 2004 and 2005.

Their sales boomed and their focus was almost entirely on the safety and security market.

We took a different approach based on pragmatism more than any other factor. How could a new company compete in a saturated market against dealers who had been around for 15-20 years?

Obviously after having been at 3M for 33 years I had some understanding of the business at least from a corporate perspective.

We were certainly motivated then and now to make this work!

The foundation for our success has been the winning solutions that we offer to our clients.

Leading the way are our VISTA Films and Huper Optik Ceramic Films.

These solutions offer superior value in all respects compared to the "other guys".

In particular our core solutions allowed us to leverage value and performance to win time and again against our friends at 3M.
